The Central Pennsylvania Lodge #2651 – OSDIA hosts a Bocce league for members. Non-lodge members are eligible to play on a team for a fee. All are welcome to register as general substitutes , at no charge, and participate when a team member is unavailable for a game.
Our season runs from late April to late August. Games are played at Memorial Park in Mechanicsburg on Thursday evenings, beginning at 5:45 PM. The league also has the courts reserved on Tuesday evenings for makeup games, as necessary, or open play.
Our lodge sponsors a Children’s Bocce-Pizza Party each year in August at Memorial Park for youth, ages 5 to 14. In September we hold the annual Joseph A. Turri Bocce Benefit Tournament at Adams-Ricci Park in Enola, PA. This tournament generates a donation to a worthy cause, as well as prizes for the top three teams.
