Italian Wine Tasting Event –– Saturday November 20, 2021 – 2 PM  

It’s time to do our next wine tasting!  We think this event will sell out quickly.  Your payment will reserve your spot, so don’t hesitate to send in your money!  

We will tasting 4 to 5 exceptional red wines from … Italy, of course !!

The wine tasting will start promptly at 2 PM.  We will have the food available starting at 1:30 PM and available throughout the event.  The tasting event will start with an introduction to the five S’s of wine tasting (see, swirl, sniff, sip and savor) followed by the tasting of our wines.  We will be finished around 4:30 PM.

Cost: $35 person – Includes the wine tasting, light appetizers, and water.  Advanced reservations and payment are required for this event.  Reservations must be made by Monday, November 15, 2021.   There is a limit of 16 people for this event.  Please make checks payable to “Central PA Lodge #2651” and mail to the Ebersole address below.

  • Columbus Day Observations, Review – “True History of Columbus” presentations by George Lapore and Joan Rottmann to St. Theresa’s Parochial School classes.
  • Lodge participation in Proclamation of October as “Italian Heritage Month” by Pennsylvania Legislature. Upcoming presentation to Knights of Columbus on November 9th, entitled, “Christopher Columbus – Hero, Devout Catholic – How Columbus’ Faith influenced the New World”.
  • Columbus Day Dinner and Bocce Banquet at Marcello’s Restaurant. Lodge members celebrated the successes of the lawsuit in Philadelphia and our local activities, such as those mentioned above and mailings of “Why Columbus Matters” brochures to local legislators.
  • Trophies presentation to the Colpi di Whiskey Bocce team for their 2021 league championship. Christmas Party – Wednesday, December 15 at New Cumberland VFW. “Person of the Year” award presentation. Look for announcement on details of the party in early November.
